Project Description:
The concept for this competition entry underscores the finance industry’s evolution beyond traditional banking.

Developing an international bank’s Beirut headquarters, the firm converts a massive plot into an interactive green campus. To enhance the client’s social approach to business, visitors and employees enter through a large platform. The platform is a landscaped park that acts as a hub to a series of buildings of varying corporate and social functions: bank offices; IT, HR, and training departments; an auditorium; a fitness club; and a nursery for employees’ children.
A double glass skin forms the buildings’ exteriors, allowing for natural temperature control. The sheer skin also underscores the bank’s transparency. Covered in airy green mesh, the project introduces a new financial district model.
